Lima – Paracas – Ica – Nasca – Cusco –  Lima

Day 01 ... / Lima
Welcome to Perú!
Upon arrival at Lima Airport, reception by a Domiruth Travel Service representative and transferred to the selected hotel, located in the residential district of Miraflores. We have specially organized a fruit basket for you, in your room with compliments of Domiruth. The fruit basket goes in accordance with the season.

Day 02 Lima / Ica
Breakfast. Early in the morning (06h00) leave in 4x4 for the city of Ica. On the way you will will visit the National Reserve of Paracas. After a 4-hour ride, arrival to Ica and accomodation in the hotel. Free afternoon and spend the night in the hotel.

Day 03 Ica / Nasca
Breakfast. Early in the morning, transfer to the pier and board the boat in which you will begin the tour to the Ballestas Islands, inhabited by pelicans, sea lions, sea gulls and pinguins. Then, visit the city and the Huacachina Lake. After a little rest, in the afternoon you will leave to the city of Nasca. Arrival in Nasca and accomodation in the hotel. Overnight.
 
Day 04 Nasca
Breakfast, early in the morning, drive to the aerodrome where you will board little airplanes in order to fly over spectacular lines which were carved into the Peruvian dessert soil hundreds of years ago, until today remains a mystery. Here you will see the spider, whale, colibri and the so called astronaut. Later on during the day you may visit Chauchilla, Paredones, Cantayoc and Cahuachi. See description in our newsletters.

Day 05 Nasca /Abancay
Early in the morning breakfast, then later on slow ascending drive on the way to Abancay, you will pass bye the heroic city of Ayacucho and Pampas galeras, from there on continue to Abancay. Arrival at the hote in Abancay and overnight.
 
Day 06 Abancay /Sacred Valley / Cusco
Early in the morning breakfast, and on our way to the Sacred Valley we will visit The National Sanctuary of Ampay this is located 6 km outside the city of Abancay. The Sanctuary lays at 3,500 m.a.s.l and only accessible through the town of Arcopunco, from there on, on dusty roads until descending on the skirts of the Ampay mountain range. This is a beautiful place conformed by natural forests, lagoons and snowy mountain peaks. Once visiting and picture sessions, we begin our journey back to the main highway to Cusco. Between Abancay and Cusco we will also visit Saywite where you will visit the Sywite complex, famous due its carved stones unique in the world! From there on continue our journey to the Sacred Valley and then Cusco City. Arrival and overnight.

Day 07 Cusco / Sacred Valley
Breakfast. Departure by 4x4 car to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First, you will visit Pisac and its famous market place (open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) where you will have the opportunity to bargain the prices with the local vendors. After lunch, you continue to Ollantaytambo in order to admire the magnificence of this Inca fortress and stroll through the picturesque streets and alleys of the actual town. Check inn and Overnight in the Sacred Valley.
 
Day 08 Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Cusco
Breakfast. Leave to the train station in Ollanta. Departure by train to Aguas Calientes in a panoramic ride of 1:30 hrs. Arrival and drive up by bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu (35 minutes). Guided visit through the citadel. Return to Aguas Calientes by bus. Buffet lunch. Then, transfer to the train station to leave back to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 09 Cusco
Breakfast. At opportune hour city tour within the Archaeological Capital of America visiting the Main Plaza, the Koricancha, the Cathedral and its nearby ruins such as Qenqo, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay and the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Overnight
 
Day 10 Cusco / Lima
Breakfast. At opportune hour transfer to the airport to catch a regular flight to leave back to Lima. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Breakfast. At opportune hour transfer to the airport to catch your flight out.
