PERU 4x4 Caminos del Inca Rally Trail

LIMA – HUANCAYO – AYACUCHO – ANDAHUAYLAS - ABANCAY – CUSCO – PUNO – AREQUIPA – NAZCA – LIMA

Day 01 ... / Lima Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight. *Day 02 Lima / Huancayo* Breakfast. Leave in a 4x4 vehicle to the city of Huancayo. Touristic journey starting up in the coast of Lima till Ticlio (the highest point in all trip) 4,850 masl. Then you will continue the trip to the Mantaro Valley and finally arrive to Huancayo. Overnight stay.
	*Day 03 Huancayo / Ayacucho* Breakfast. Leave to the Pampas of Ayacucho, historic place where the Battle of Ayacucho was performed and seal the Independence of Peru. The journey continues bordering the majestic Mantaro river and stopping by the towns of Mariscal Cáceres, Moya, Huanta till arrive to Ayacucho. Overnight stay. *Day 04 Ayacucho / Andahuaylas* Breakfast Brief visit to the city and its main churches, then you will continue the trip taking the highway and in the way you will stop by in the andean towns of: Ocros, Chumbes, Río Pampas, Callabamba, Talavera to finally arrive to Andahuaylas. Overnight.
*Day 05 Andahuaylas / Abancay / Cusco* Breakfast. Early leaving to visit the beautiful Lake Pacucha; you will continue to the archaeological Complex of Sóndor, place birth of the Chankas Culture. You will stop by the city of Abancay to visit the well-known stone of Saywite, featuring an ovoidal shape and 2.5mts high. Here you can differ the carved flora, fauna, topography and costumes of the inca empire. Continue of the trip to the city of Cusco. Overnight stay in Urubamba. *Day 06 Urubamba / Full Day Sacred Valley* Breakfast. Full day through the Sacred Valley of the Incas visiting the fortress of Ollantaytambo and its surroundings, the town of Chincheros, the Maras salt mines and Moray. Return to Urubamba. Overnight stay.
	*Day 07 Ollantaytambo / Machu Picchu / Ollantaytambo* Breakfast. Transfer to the train station in Ollanta and leave in the Vistadome train to the Machu Picchu citadel. A lunch buffet is included. In the afternonn, transfer to the train station to leave back to Ollantaytambo. Overnight stay in Ollantaytambo. *Day 08 Ollantaytambo / Pisac / 4 Ruins / Cusco* Breakfast. Leave bound for the town of Pisac to visit its famous indian market (placed only on tuesdays, thursdays and sundays) and its ruins. When you come back to Cusco you will stop by the 4 ruins near the city as: qenqo, Pucapucará, Tambomachay and the fortress of Sacsayhuamán. Arrival and overnight stay.
*Day 09 Cusco / Puno* Breakfast. A brief visit to the city can be done before leave to Puno. On the way you will visit the Andahuylillas Chapel, the Temple to the God Wiracocha in Raqchi, the journey continues to Sicuani, where you will have lunch. After that, La Raya the highest point in all the circuit (4300 masl) and Pukara, arriving to Puno late in the afternoon. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight. *Day 10 Lake Titicaca* Breakfast. Transfer to the pier in order to initiate the excursion on the Lake Titicaca known as the highest navigable lake in the world (3,800 m.a.s.l). You will visit the floating Islands of the Uros (local ethnics), who live from fishing and the sales of handcrafts. They live in small totora cottages. Continue the excursion to the Taquile Island. Lunch included. Return to the hotel and overnight.
	*Day 11 Puno / Colca* Breakfast. Leave bound for Colca Canyon. On the way you will visit the Tombs of Sillustani know as Chullpas, an old pre inca cementery. The journey includes beautiful andean landscapes, typical towns, the Salinas and Agua Blanca National Reserve with an amazing view of the lake. Arrival to Colca and small city and visit to the hot springs of La Calera. Overnight in local lodge. *Day 12 Colca / Arequipa* Breakfast. Early leaving towards Arequipa. The journey includes a visit to the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve inhabited by peruvian cameloids, as well as the Sabancaya, ChacChani, and Misti volcanoes. Arrival to Arequipa. Overnight.
*Day 13 Arequipa / Nasca* Breakfast. Brief visit to the vity of Arequipa visiting the Main Square and the near monuments. After the visit, leave in 4x4 car to the city of Nasca. Arrival and accomodation in the hotel. Overnight. *Day 14 Nazca / Ica* Breakfast. In the morning, trasnfer to the local airport to have the flight over the Nasca Lines. Then, in the afternoon leave to the city of Ica, where you will arrive after a 3.00hrs trip. Arrival and acomodation in the hotel. Overnight.
	Day 15 Ica / Lima Breakfast. Free day for personal activities. In the afternoon leave to the final stop of the trip, Lima. Arrival and accommodation in the hotel. Overnight. Day 16 Lima Breakfast. At opportune hour transfer to the airport to catch your flight out.
